ColorForm: Premium surfaces directly from the mold
In addition to the machine exhibits, KraussMaffei is showcasing various components manufactured using the innovative ColorForm process.
The technology combines injection molding, polyurethane in-mold coating, and automation into a single integrated process in which the surface finish is applied directly in the mold, eliminating the need for separate painting. Not least through the elimination of process steps, this technology enables cost-effective and sustainable component solutions with first-class surface quality and high-quality film design.
